After visiting the "big heads" we went
to Custer State Park and set up our tent.
We had a great site in the Sylvan campground. We walked around the lake, set up
camp and cooked up some dinner. Tomorrow we are going to check out the Wildlife Loop.

The wildlife loop has animals everywhere and you
can't stop and pet them.
There are bison here too...a lot more than we saw in the Bad Lands. Most of the mommas
had calves with them. The big daddy bison were hanging out by the visitor center.
I think they were bigger than our vehicle! we stayed way away from them!

We saw deer like we have back home but these were
a bit different. Mom says
they are antelope. We saw some running and they were VERY fast!
These babies were playing with their new horns. They didn't ask to
play with the big antelope...I don't think he likes to play.

We walked the "prairie trail" and saw tons of flowers and
these strange "grapes".
There were lots of flowers in bloom
everywhere.
We also saw white tail deer and prairie
dogs. Still no rattlesnakes.
