ran into some old bones. Good thing they checked to see what they were and the site was saved.
Over 40 mammoths have been discovered so far in what used to be a warm water sink hole. They
likely got trapped in the mud. There are woolly mammoths and columbian mammoths as well as lots
of other animals like bears and tigers.

The mammoth site was pretty cool.
It will always be different everytime you go back because they keep
digging every year. Visiting professors dig in the summer and the rest
of the year they catalog and clean up was dug in those two months!
They had displays of people hunting mammoths and this hut made out of
bones and covered with hide. They have found huts like this in the Siberia
area.
I don't think I would have liked it very much 15,000 years ago! besides
not having TV and stuff like that most of the animals had jaws bigger
than me!
