IIt was cold and rainy on Saturday but we decided to visit the fort anyways. I'm glad we did. There were some really old buildings that were used when soldiers were here making sure that the settlers and the Indians didn't fight.

They had clothes that I could put on to pretend to be a soldier or a pioneer girl. Glad I'm a girl-the clothes are more comfortable!

There were also also a large stable because there were lots of horses here. The cannon would be pulled by 6 horses!

At this point we continued east to another place I've never been called Alexandria. Not sure where that
is but I hope they have another water park and I can watch more movies during the drive.
The quality of the scenery has dropped off since we left the black hills.
